AS Prike - 18 years of experience in the premium drinks market

The history of AS Prike begins with the year 1992 when we introduced the coffee brands of Santos and Columbia into Estonia. In the same year, the world’s most famous cognac producer, Hennessy, started looking for a potential business partner in Estonia. At that time, most Estonians were still totally unfamiliar with Hennessy cognac and back then, the term ‘cognac’ was applied to any hard liquor made from grapes.

After Hennessy had been to Estonia for the second time, AS Prike and Hennessy decided to strike a deal and the first 17 crates of the high-quality cognac arrived in the newly-independent Republic of Estonia. Due to the value of genuine cognac and the standard of living back then it took almost a year for all of these first bottles to reach cognac drinkers.

This is how things were 18 years ago.

Today, Hennessy is well-known and highly valued in Estonia and it takes only one day to sell the same quantity of Hennessy cognac. And this is the case throughout the year. Our product portfolio includes 69 world-famous brands and more than 470 articles of other good-quality products that also deserve to be enjoyed. Today, Prike is the representative of Moĕt-Hennessy group in Estonia. Diageo, which is the world’s largest holding company of various alcoholic beverage brands, is also one of our partners; Diageo represents such brands as Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Gordon’s and Captain Morgan which everybody should be familiar with by now. There are also separate brands, such as Metaxa, DeKyper, Pere Magloire. Prike also offers enjoyable tea and coffee experiences through the high-quality Tetley tea and Luxus coffee, the name of which speaks for itself.

Many of the brands that we represent are in the number one position in the world, in their respective categories; and these brands have also reached the same position in Estonia, as a result of our experience and work throughout these years – this shows that anything truly good will always be recognised and approved and will become popular all over the world.
